Clarifications on Awards Banquet

Author: Thursday the 23rd of February, is the 4th-9th grade Awards Banquet at LaMon’t gym 1338 N 200 W Mapleton.
Due to space and the addition of all fourth graders, remember that this is just for the athlete and the parents.
Dress attire for the wrestlers and fathers is a dress shirt and tie. No levis. Mom’s can come in dress slacks or dresses as they desire.
Banquet will start promptly at 6:00 PM.

For all young club members, I highly suggest going to watch this great event. The finals are the best part, but really any time is good. Maple Mountain, Salem Hills, Springville, Provo, Herriman are all Wednesday and Thursday and Payson, Juab, Spanish Fork, Carbon are all Friday and Saturday. I know we have kids in our club that feed into all these high schools, so don’t miss the action.

Formal Dress
Please bring money for team picture if you ordered one, $2 for action shot of your wrestler, and money for our wrestling DVD.
Please RSVP to dianelamont1@yahoo.com on how many will be coming from your family. Include what side dish you would be willing to bring (salad/dessert/rolls- please be specific on what type of salad or dessert that you plan on bringing so we don’t end up with 50 green salads 
).
If you would like a team picture, the cost is $10. Please indicate that in your email as well so we know how many to print up.
Wrestle Till you Drop at Salem Hills
I forgot to remind the PreK-6th graders that there is another WTYD at SHHS at 6:00 PM Wednesday Feb 8th. Even though our practices are on hold for two weeks, this competition is still going forward.
Also don’t forget about supporting UVU this weekend on Friday and Saturday. See the defending NCAA D1 National Champions Penn State right here in Utah County at 7:00 PM. This is likely to sell out with wrestling fans coming from six surrounding states already buying tickets from Smithtix. Getting there early would be wise.
