Dual Meet Schedule 2009

PLEASE start on time:

Fly teams arrive at 5:30     Start by 5:40 end by 6:15

Bantams arrive at 6:00       Start at 6:15  end at 7:10

Midgets arrive at 7:00        Start at 7:15  end at 8:30

Fly’s

Rules: Folkstyle with 3 – 40 second rounds.  The boy who has scored the least amount of points gets his choice in the 2nd round.  No pins.  Points will be awarded and called out but not tracked.  Both hands will be raised after each match.  Do not match kids separated by more than 5 lbs.  Match experience level & age when possible.

Fly Dual Meet Schedule: 5:30 to 6:15   (r) = dressed in red singlet (b) = dressed in blue singlet

Bantam’s

Rules: 3 B 50 second rounds.  Points will be called out and awarded but both hands will be raised at the end of the match.  Pins will be called (full 2 secondsCDO NOT slap the mat) but a pin will only end the round–not end the match (unless it happens in the 3^rd round).  Please try to match boys within 7 pounds of each other (except heavy weights) and pair for age and experience when possible.

Bantam Dual Meet Schedule: 6:00 to 7:10   (r) = red singlet (b) = blue singlet

Intermediate

Rules: Regular rules apply with three B 1 min and 15 second rounds.  Points will be awarded and kept.  Pins apply (full 2 seconds).  Only winners will have their hands raised.  Pair boys by weight (9 lbs max), age, and experience level.  Please be careful with heavy weights and break them up in dangerous situations.

Intermediate Dual Meet Schedule: 7:00- 8:30 (r) = red singlet (b) = blue singlet

Each age group will have a true beginner division (2 months or less experience)

8:00 A.M. Pre-K-4th ages divided by current age (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9). 1 min. rounds.

Weights divide every 5 pounds – Round-robin format. All get medals.

9:45 A.M. Middle School division (5th & 6th grades). 1:15 rounds. Line brackets.

Weights: 60,64,68,72,76,80,84,88,92,96,100,106,112,120,130,144,Hvy

11:30 A.M. Jr. High division (7th-9th grades). *9th graders who will wrestle in High School this year NOT ALLOWED! 1:30 rounds. Line brackets.

70,75,80,84,88,92,96,100,104,108,112,116,120,125,130,138,145,155,170,190,210,Hvy

*Wrestlers may wrestle more than one weight or division. *Rest time not enforced.

Friday Night weigh-ins ONLY from 6:00PM – 7:15 PM at Regional Sites

Must weigh-in with competition singlet or a pair of shorts. Regional Sites on Trackwrestling.com

9 yr old & under all medal. 5th – 9th grade top 4 medal

Parents: Concessions will be available. No fee for spectators. Staggered Start Times!
