Tons of information that needs to be read and understood.  Lots of details.

Self Stats Sheet – Click Here to Download -  Please print off 10 or so of these and send them with your wrestlers to every competition.  They should fill them out and turn them in to a manager or coach after each match.

It is time now after six weeks on the team that we submit our goals. I would like each wrestler to submit two goals for the season. We have two months left in the season. I want the two goals to be specific and have an explanation of how they will achieve the goals. 3.5X5 index cards are best.

Registration for Salt Lake Slam ends early. Registration ends on Thursday at noon. This is not a tournament to wait on. A $25.00 late fee for onsite registration. To get into the regular tournament you will need a national card. If you are in the true beginner or the 9th grade category, you only need the state league card.

This week’s schedule is complex. Normal practice tonight. We will move one mat after practice.

Tuesday no practice. We are MOVING the wrestle till you drop for Jr. High to Spanish Fork Jr. HIgh. Maple Mountain High has a basketball game and wanted us to move this. There are six schools coming. Not lost the last two. Lots of matches. Remember that this is for 7th – 9th Jr. High only on Tuesday

Regular practice Wednesday and Thursday.

No practice on Friday. Car pools leave Memorial Hall at 5:PM for weigh ins.

Saturday AM car pool leaves at 7:AM from Memorial Hall. The more drivers the better. Remember that Saturday is a club tournament for all ages.

We want our club to work two tables at the tournament. I will pay people to do this. I need 12 volunteers (kind of a volunteer). I have $500.00 to pay out between these 12 people depending on what you do. If you are not going due to financial reasons, please sign up with me ASAP. If you want to volunteer without getting paid, all the better. Let me know.

These optional tournaments will require a Utah USA Wrestling League Insurance Card for $10.75 or a national USA National Card for $37.00 These are both once a year cards and are good till August of 2010. The only tournament below that requires the national card is the Salt Lake Slam.

Caleb Williams Memorial Tournament.  Saturday Nov. 21  8:00 AM – Our Tournament – FREE!

Saturday December 5th. Salt Lake Slam hosted in Heber City. $35.00 plus national card OR True beginners division for $15.00 and league card $10.75

Saturday December 12th. Spanish fork kids tournament $10.00

Saturday December 19th. Provo High – kids tournament $10.00

Wasatch January 9th. Wasatch High – kids tournament $10.00

Juab Open January 16th. Juab High – kids tournament $10.00

Beehive Brawl January 22, 23. Richfield. $25.00

Middle School State Tournament. Roy High School. $15.00

Kids State February 6th . 6th grade and under American Fork High. $10.00

High School Wrestling Dual Meet

Free entry into the Springville High vs Maple Mountain High Dual meet if you wear our club wrestling shirt.

Thursday December 10th. 7:00 PM in Springville.

Each age group will have a true beginner division (2 months or less experience)

8:00 A.M. Pre-K-4th ages divided by current age (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9). 1 min. rounds.

Weights divide every 5 pounds – Round-robin format. All get medals.

9:45 A.M. Middle School division (5th & 6th grades). 1:15 rounds. Line brackets.

Weights: 60,64,68,72,76,80,84,88,92,96,100,106,112,120,130,144,Hvy

11:30 A.M. Jr. High division (7th-9th grades). *9th graders who will wrestle in High School this year NOT ALLOWED! 1:30 rounds. Line brackets.

*Wrestlers may wrestle more than one weight or division. *Rest time not enforced.

Friday Night weigh-ins ONLY from 6:00PM – 7:15 PM at Regional Sites

9 yr old & under all medal. 5th – 9th grade top 4 medal

Parents: Concessions will be available. No fee for spectators. Staggered Start Times!
